| kent and i have received the perfect opportunity to go on a project/vision trip this summer.
he had to take a mandatory vacation from work, and he chose two weeks randomly. a week later, i talked to erin on the phone, and she told me about a trip that was happening those exact two weeks. is that a God thing or what??
anyway, to hear more, just let me know, and we'll add you to our e-prayer letter list.

| With Spring Festival just around the corner, I decided that it's not TOO late to post my New Year's Resolutions. Of course, I did make them earlier on...just didn't post them til now. I guess I figured a little accountability never hurt anyone.
1. Enlist the help of an organized friend to teach me how to be more organized. Prospects are currently popping up everywhere--yay!
2. Use menu-plans during the week and grocery shop according to them using shopping lists. This must be one of those things you learn as you get a family as it takes quite a bit more discipline. I'm just preparing for the future.
3. Spend weekend time to pray, read, and reflect. It's hard on weekends, because so many fun things come up. But time with God needs to be more important than those fun things :P
4. Stop playing with hair and picking out curly ones. I'm realizing this isn't an attractive habit to have.
There's a few of them...I/we have others...but haven't thought through them enough to come up with details.
In other news, Kent and I have been practicing our parenting skills on other people's kids. Check out this cutie, Charlie. We get to spend a few hours with him and his brother, George, on Mondays.
If this doesn't help you get over the monday blues, I don't know what will =D

| It's been an extremely addictive football season (read last four posts :P).
Even though I'm not exactly a UT Longhorns fan (I really hope they lose this week so that PSU makes it to the number 2 spot in the country!!!), I really want Colt McCoy to win the Heisman. I love how everytime he gets interviewed after a game, he starts out by saying "I just want to give God the glory for this game..." It takes a lot of guts to say that on national TV, especially when the interviewer never even mentioned faith!
I am also encouraged by this article in the Collegian (yes, i'm a dork and I still check my college newspaper) about Jordan Norwood, on and off the field. I think it's cool that some of my Nittany Lions are plugged into a church and serious about their faith =D

| His last name are the state initials for Pennsylvania, and he's pretty much built Penn State up. And yet, this article is insinuating that a certain Mr. Spanier wants to make him disappear!!! I bet JoePa's glasses are older than Spanier!!!
That punk. I wanna march into Old Main right now and give that guy a licking. I bet my 8th graders (whom I've turned into Nittany Lion fans) and I could take him on, no prob!
Why haven't they renewed JoePa's contract--for as long as he stinkin' wants to stay around??
